Well, it doesn’t come much easier than this!
The mould lines were really bad on these two and I didn’t put much effort into removing them either. I’d seen them painted a glowing green and was going to do that, but I asked my wife, ‘What colour would you expect a ghost to be?’ and she came back with White, and so that, to a degree, they are.
These were, literally, a five-minute job. Prime Black and then use the airbrush to apply some selective gradient shading. I think I used three different greys before finishing off with White. I then went back to Black to reinforce the shadows. It was then a case of dotting in the eyes, varnish, and transfer to the base – two more miniature ‘horrors’ out of the way!
