Do you remember Wizards of the Coast’s d20 system, originally developed for the 3rd Edition of Dungeons and Dragons? Or more to the point, the d20 Modern system, released in 2002, which took the core mechanisms from the d20 System Reference Document (SRD) and revamped it for a modern setting (even futuristic in terms of d20 Future!)?
Well, if you do, and you get excited recalling your exploits in the system, then keep reading, as this might be of interest. If you don’t remember it, and haven’t a clue what I’m rambling on about, keep reading anyway, because you never know when the lure of a Role-Playing game might grab you and this has the promise to be great…
Everyday Heroes is Evil Genius Productions’ new take on the d20 Modern system, just in time to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Jeff Grubb, one of the original designers, has joined the team to help create the game. But rather than me tell you all about it, you can read the full press release HERE.
I own a fair number of games based on the original d20 system, as well as the Modern version, so I’ll be keeping an eye on how the Kickstarter campaign progresses once released, and wish Dave Scott, Evil Genius Productions’ owner, and the team all the best.
