It has been 5-months since my last post, so you could be led to believe that this post is about the break I’ve been taking until now. Alas, it is not!
I’ve made the decision to stop trying to fool myself that I’ll write something for the site next week and tuck The Solo Meeple up for the night until further notice.
An increase in work commitments just hasn’t left me enough down time to fit everything in and, of course, family comes before hobbies.
This is not a goodbye, more of a siesta until I start finding some free time, get some gaming done, put paint on miniatures and start posting again.
In a few weeks time I’ll take my site down for, lets call it, ‘On going maintenance’. Whilst its down I can go through everything and do a bit of tidying up, make it a bit more streamlined by getting rid of some of the older posts and try to find a direction I’d like it all to take – I’d really like to get back on track with solo gaming and eventually put out more posts to that effect.
How long this is going to be for, I’ve really no idea. It may be a few months but more likely long term, maybe even a year or two.
I am getting the odd thing painted but progress is slow – I’ll post things to Facebook & Instagram as I complete them, just so people out there know I’m still alive!
And so, that just leaves me to say a big thank you to everyone out there whose followed, commented, or otherwise supported my efforts, and hopefully I’ll see you all, as they say, on the flip side!
